WWE Backlash Sets Multiple Records
WWE announced last weekend’s Backlash premium live event in Puerto Rico is the highest-grossing and most-viewed Backlash in company history.
Viewership saw a 28 percent increase over the record set last year. It was the largest gate ever for any WWE event held in Puerto Rico and the largest gate in the history of Backlash.

Joaquin Wilde Created Original RoH Logo
WWE Superstar, and LWO member, Joaquin Wilde appeared on WWE on Fox’s YouTube show ‘Out of Character’ this week, and shared that he created the original Ring of Honor logo more than 20 years ago.
Wilde submitted his logo design as an entry to a contest that sought to find a logo for the upstart promotion. Wilde said he entered the contest because he was an avid tape trader, and the winner would receive 5 free wrestling tapes.
Wilde substantiated the claim on Twitter with a picture of a 2002 online article by Ring of Honor founder Gabe Sapolsky declaring Wilde as the winner.
Wilde also said he received free tickets to any live RoH event for life.
Hearing Scheduled for MLW / WWE Lawsuit
A hearing is scheduled to take place on July 20th in the lawsuit against WWE brought on by MLW, who alleges that WWE’s exclusivity agreements (such as Peacock and NBC) caused violations of the Sherman Antitrust Act regarding the pro wrestling media market in the United States.
MLW claims WWE was engaging in unfair practices, including attempting to prevent Ring of Honor from running Madison Square Garden, preventing AEW from booking an arena in Cincinnati, and WWE going after signed MLW talents, including Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Swerve Strickland.

Impact Wrestling to Make Australia Debut
Impact Wrestling will debut in Australia this summer, as part of a New South Wales government initiative to increase tourism.
Impact Wrestling’s Down Under Tour will feature two marquee wrestling shows in late June and early July, according to an announcement on Twitter.
There is no report on if these shows will be taped for Impact's show on AXS TV or broadcast in some other capacity, if at all.
