Interesting Title Facts from This Weekend
A long weekend of premium wrestling events brought some interesting facts about a few titles.
Roman Reigns has now held the WWE Universal Championship for over 1000 days and counting. Reigns is now the 5th WWE wrestler to have a 1000-day title reign, joining Pedro Morales, Hulk Hogan, Bob Backlund, and Bruno Sammartino, who had two separate title reigns last over 1000 days.
Asuka defeated Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship at WWE’s Night of Champions, ending Belair’s reign which was the longest WWE Women’s title reign in over 17 years, and the longest WWE single’s title reign for any black wrestler in wwe history.
Also, Tiffany Stratton won the NXT Women’s Championship, defeating Lyra Valkyria, making Stratton the 100th woman in WWE history to hold a title with the company.

Bryan Danielson Addresses New AEW Creative Role
Bryan Danielson addressed his new reported role with AEW Creative at AEW’s Double or Nothing Media Scrum this weekend. Danielson confirmed that he will be assisting with the creative team for AEW Collision.
Danielson said he and Tony Khan spend a lot of time talking about wrestling plans and that they share similar ideas.
Danielson finds it rewarding that AEW has grown in the year and a half he has been with the company and said, “I've never been at a place where the company has so much heart for the wrestlers, and that is so meaningful and makes me feel so grateful for this place."
WWE Superstars Grant First-Ever Make-A-Wish in Saudi Arabia
Ahead of WWE Night of Champions, WWE helped grant the first Make-A-Wish in Saudi Arabia.
WWE, who has a 40+ year working relationship with Make-A-Wish, shared a video in which a handful of superstars, including Natalya, Kofi Kingston, and Cody Rhodes were on hand visiting a child in a hospital.
Liv Morgan Out of Action Through the Summer
Liv Morgan’s recent shoulder injury will prevent her from in-ring action until the Fall at least, according to Fightful.com this weekend.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful cited a WWE source who said they expect Morgan to at least be sidelined through the summer, and they don’t have a further update beyond that.
