More WWE Fans Exist Now Than Ever Before
WWE fandom is at an all-time high according to a recent report by The Hollywood Reporter who cited a SSRS/Luker on Trends Sports poll that says an estimated 90 million people identified as WWE fans in 2022, up nearly 5 million from the year prior.
The poll does not attempt however to distinguish between casual fans and hardcore fans, or any sort of frequency of consumption of WWE content.
The Hollywood Reporter article also notes that WWE has set all-time highs for gate and/or attendance in 57 cities across the world over the last six months.

WWE CEO Believes NXT Can Be a Standalone Brand
WWE CEO Nick Khan believes NXT can be more than merely a developmental brand for the company.
Khan spoke at the JP Morgan Annual Global Technology, Media and Communications Conference about WWE’s future media rights negotiations and said, “We think NXT has the viability to be its own standalone brand instead of just being a developmental system – a third brand, if you will, where you can see cross-over from our superstars on Raw and SmackDown to NXT while our young talent develops there. Once we get all of that situated, then we will look at other nights of the week to develop new content as well.”

Roman Reigns Featured in 2024 Paris Olympics Commercial
WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns was featured in a new commercial for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Reigns joined Dolly Parton and one of the Minions in the commercial, which showed the celebrities clearing their calendars for the Olympic Games.
For Roman Reigns, he was shown with Paul Heyman, who declared Reigns would defend his title against anyone, at any time, to which Reigns replied, “except next July”.

Brodie Lee Tops AEW Merchandise Sales Chart
The professional wrestling world still misses Brodie Lee; a claim proven by the fact that the deceased wrestler is still topping the AEW merchandise sales chart.
A report from Wrestlenomics.com showed last week’s top selling merchandise item for AEW was Brodie Lee’s “AEW Unmatched” action figure, selling more than the next highest items featuring Bullet Club Gold, Orange Cassidy, The Acclaimed, and the Blackpool Combat Club.
