AEW Director Leaves Company
AEW needs a new director of Pay Per Views, AEW Rampage, and AEW Dynamite, according to PWInsider who reported that AEW Director Tim Walbert left the company this week after holding the role since AEW began in 2019.
There have been no reports on who may replace Walbert moving forward, or how the role will be handled until that time.

Ric Flair Inspires Arena Football Team Name
The Arena Football league plans to relaunch in 2004, and one team in Waterloo, Iowa plans to embrace professional wrestling.
A report from The Water Loo Cedar Falls Courier says the new Waterloo team will be named the Waterloo Woo, and their mascot is a wolf with blond hair, sunglasses, and a robe reminiscent of The Nature Boy Ric Flair.
The teams’ Executive Director of Experience Tavis Hall said the team name has a several meanings, one being the city’s important history with the railroad, but did say “We also like wrestling around here. Not just wrestling, but ‘rassling.”
Team General Manager Bailey McRae believes the stadium will embrace and encourage fans to yell the traditional Ric Flair WOO during games, saying “Who does not want to go into an arena that has one of the best echo effects in the world and just scream ‘Woo!’ every time something cool happens?”

NHL Legend to Appear at Slammiversary
NHL Legend Darren McCarty will be appearing at Impact Wrestling Slammiversary next month, according to a Twitter announcement made by the company yesterday.
The former Detroit Red Wings star is no stranger to Impact Wrestling as he appeared several times on Impact Television this year, notably having issues with Impact and WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray, so much so that Bully Ray put McCarty through a table on one episode.
McCarty will serve as the Special Enforcer for when Bully Ray and Steve Maclin will battle PCO and Impact President Scott D’Amore.

Lil Uzi Vert Makes Tribute Song to Nakamura
Rapper Lil Uzi Vert just released a new album called Pink Tape which features one song that could be considered a tribute to WWE Superstar Shinsuke Nakamura.
The track, titled ‘Nakamura’, samples Nakamura’s iconic WWE theme song ‘The Rising Sun’ and is one of 26 songs on Lil Uzi Vert’s third studio album.
