AEW Seeking Two Emmy Nominations
The 2023 Emmy Nomination Ballots are officially out and two AEW shows have been submitted by AEW and Warner Brothers Discovery for consideration to be officially nominated for an Emmy Award.
AEW Dynamite is one of 37 shows seeking to be nominated for Outstanding Structured Reality Program, and AEW All Access is one of 44 shows seeking to be nominated for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Program.
The official nominees will be named in July. For historical reference, WWE has submitted shows for nomination before and never been picked for nomination.
They did however receive a nomination for the 2023 Sports Emmy Awards last month for the Ric Flair 30 for 30, which lost its bid for Outstanding Long Documentary.

Impact Wrestling Secures New UK TV Deal
Impact Wrestling announced yesterday that they secured a new media rights deal to air Impact Wrestling’s weekly shows on Friday nights in the UK and Ireland on DAZN HD 1, the networks traditional TV network on Sky TV.
Prior to this announcement Impact Wrestling was only broadcasting in the UK and Ireland as part of DAZN’s online streaming network since November, however this change will put Impact Wrestling in front of a lot more potential viewers.

Jeff Hardy Written Off AEW Programming
Jeff Hardy will not be performing for AEW for the next few weeks, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful who reported that AEW has written Jeff Hardy out of storylines for the next several shows as AEW will produce eight straight shows in Canada.
Jeff Hardy is currently not allowed in Canada due to his previous arrests and legal troubles.
AEW begins their Canada tour this Saturday night and will not return for a show in the United States until July 19th.

Gail Kim & Gisele Shaw on Amazing Race Canada
Impact Wrestling star Gisele Shaw and Impact Wrestling Hall of Famer Gail Kim are set to compete on the next season of Amazing Race Canada, according to the CTV television network.
CTV posted competitor bios on their website and said the team of Shaw and Kim will be called Team Knockout on the upcoming season which debuts next month.
The bio concludes that “Gail and Gisele want to crush the stereotype of ‘dumb wrestlers’ in a ‘fake’ world and show Canada that they are fierce female athletes.”
