The Rock Makes Largest SAG-AFTRA Donation in History
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson recently made the largest ever donation to the Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, according to a report from Variety.
The SAG-AFTRA Foundation is a non-profit organization associated with the actor’s union that works to provide financial relief to union members via the foundation’s Emergency Financial Assistance Program when necessary.
SAG-AFTRA’s President Courtney B. Vance told Variety that Johnson made a seven-figure donation, the exact amount of which will be kept confidential, that can help thousands of union members as they continue their strike which began July 13th in support of the already occurring writer’s strike.
SAG-AFTRA Executive Director Cyd Wilson said of Johnson’s donation, “It’s the largest single donation that we’ve ever received from one individual at one time. And what is amazing is that that one check is going to help thousands of actors keep food on their table, and keep their kids safe, and keep their cars running.”

Kevin Owens, Liv Morgan Real Injuries Being Used in Storylines
WWE is featuring two real Superstar injuries in their current storylines on RAW.
Liv Morgan was attacked by Rhea Ripley on RAW last night, with Ripley crushing Morgan’s arm and shoulder in a chair.
Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio reports that Morgan’s other shoulder is legitimately injured, most likely an aggravation of an injury that recently caused Morgan to be absent from in-ring competition for several weeks.
Kevin Owens is also reportedly dealing with a legitimate injury that will keep him out of in-ring action for an undefined amount of time and was shown being tended to by medical personnel on RAW for this reason, according to WKRD Wrestling and Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com
WWE has made no announcements on these injuries, and no expected recovery times have been made public.
