AEW Issues Banned Move List
AEW is circulating a banned moves list to company performers this week, according to a report from Fightful Select who claims to have obtained a copy of this document that bans performers from the following moves:
Unprotected chair shots to the head
shots to the back of the head
buckle bombs and blind moves backward into the turnbuckle
Mimicking the unnatural position of arms following a concussion
seizure sells
spitting
bleeding in the crowd
weapons or projectiles in the crowd
taking drinks or food from guests in the crowd, or physical contact with the crowd
In addition to the banned moves, several moves and actions now require pre-approval of AEW coaches and/or officials including but not limited to:
Spots and bumps on the ring apron and outside
Table/ladder/chair spots in and out of the ring
Any elevated spots outside of the barricades (dives and ladder spots on stage, around the arena, and other places outside of the ring)
All piledriver/tombstone variations, including sit down drivers, inverted/poison hurricarana and vertebreakers
High-risk dives or top rope moves (450, 630, double moonsaults, etc)
Intentional bleeding
Throwing people into/through/over ring steps, commentary table, bell table, or guardrails/barricades
Any spots with chairs, pipes, kendo sticks, hammers, ring bells, bats, chains, title belts, etc.
Any spots with thumbtacks, skewers, barbed wire, and other sharp/puncturing objects, aerosol sprays, or liquids
Throwing any weapons or objects
Choking/strangling with hands or a weapon or hanging spots
Injury spots or angles
Any physicality in the crowd or crowd brawling
Any physicality involving “referees, managers, extras, celebrities, or special guests
This document has reportedly been confirmed by several AEW performers and employees, although some others claim to have not seen the document yet.

Mark Briscoe Injured; Pulled from RoH Death Before Dishonor
Mark Briscoe will not wrestle in his scheduled match against Claudio Castagnoli at Ring of Honor Death Before Dishonor next week, according to RoH Owner Tony Khan who announced Briscoe is dealing with an undisclosed injury and will not be cleared to wrestle in time for the event.
Khan said a new opponent for Castagnoli will be revealed next week, following Castagnoli’s appearance in the Blood & Guts match on next Wednesday's "AEW Dynamite."

Becky Lynch Undergoes Cyst Removal Procedure
WWE Superstar Becky Lynch revealed this week that she underwent a cyst removal procedure recently that nearly forced her to miss a WWE RAW match.
Lynch spoke to USA Today Sports during her appearance at the 2023 ESPY Awards this week, and said she had to go to the Emergency Room after she landed in the United States while returning from London.
Lynch said doctors performed a cyst removal on Friday, but that she was medically cleared and ready to go by Monday, and the match against Zoey Stark aired as planned.
