WWE Stock Hits All-Time High
WWE stock closed an all-time high yesterday at $111, beating its previous record closing of $109.35 set in late April.
The stock also peaked at an all-time high of $112.22 earlier in the afternoon prior to closing.
WWE initially went public in October 1999 at $17.00 per share.

Jeff Hardy Announced for GCW Show
AEW star Jeff Hardy will appear at Game Changer Wrestling’s ‘My Name Is’ event in August, according to announcement made by the company yesterday on Twitter.
Hardy will provide a musical performance at the conclusion of the Detroit show, and GCW did not clarify if Hardy will be wrestling or not on the event.

Brian Pillman, Jr. No Longer With AEW
Brian Pillman Jr.'s All Elite Wrestling contract has expired, according to PWInsider this week. As such, Pillman Jr. is also no longer on the official roster page on AEW's website.
Pillman Jr., who debuted for AEW at Double or Nothing 2019, last appeared in a televised AEW match against Swerve Strickland on AEW Rampage in February, and his last non-televised match was at a house show in May.
Pillman Jr. has continued his professional wrestling career however, wrestling last Friday for Appalachian Championship Wrestling.

Drew McIntyre to Appear in Film with Batista and Ice Cube
Drew McIntyre will miss next week’s episode of WWE RAW as he will be on-set filming scenes for a new action movie titled “The Killer’s Game”, according to a report from PWInsider this week.
McIntyre will star alongside Dave Bautista and Ice Cube in the film which follows the story of veteran assassin, played by Bautista, who receives a life-threatening illness diagnosis and orders a hit on himself to avoid the suffering of the illness. However, he later discovers that he was misdiagnosed and must now defend himself against a group of former colleagues who have been sent to kill him.
There have been no official reports at this time as to what role McIntrye will play in the film.
